Alyssa Nolan MA, RP
Alyssa Nolan (she/her) is a Registered Psychotherapist (RP) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). Alyssa holds a Bachelors Degree in Psychology from Carleton University and a Masters Degree in Counselling Psychology form Yorkville University.
Alyssa takes a client-centered and strength-based approach, grounded in humanistic values. She draws on her training and experience in evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Alyssa supports individuals facing a wide range of mental health challenges, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, emotional regulation issues, learning disabilities, and school avoidance. She also offers support in areas such as parenting, managing family conflict, learning strategies, coping with stress, and navigating significant life transitions.
Alyssa is currently a member, in good standing, with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO), Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA), and Ontario Association of Mental Health Professionals (OAMHP).
When she isn’t working, she enjoys spending time with her partner and kids, being active and playing roller derby, doing DIY projects and having karaoke car rides.
